William Kentridge’s production of Lulu included #animations of his drawings projected to reveal the characters’ innermost thoughts.
Conductor Mark Wigglesworth returns to ENO to conduct this major event of ENO’s season. Brenda Rae makes her company debut as Berg’s femme fatale, alongside a cast including Sarah Connolly, Willard White and ENO Harewood Artist Nicky Spence.
It was most sensitively and lovingly conducted by Mark Wigglesworth, who draws playing of echt Viennese creaminess from his orchestra, making it sound as good as any in London.
